On the eastern and western sides, the Baška valley is surrounded by two mountain massifs, which are also the highest peaks on the island of Krk. One of the highest peaks of the eastern massif are Kozlja (464 m), Diviška (471 m) (the area around Diviška is also a protected ornithological reserve) and Hlam (461 m), the western massif Veli vrh (541 m), Orljak (537 m) and Obzova at 568 m above sea level, which is also the highest peak on the island of Krka. Vrh Bag is the southern point of the island Krk, although it is only 185 m above sea level, it offers a unique view of Baška, Prvić and Vela beach.
